St. Matthews offers a pharmacy program dedicated to positive behavioral health outcomes through improved medication access and adherence. The program focuses on supporting clinicians who treat patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and the common co-occurring health conditions in people receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
St. Matthews Pharmacy offers a managed medication-assisted treatment (MAT) pharmacy program that focuses on supporting clinicians who treat patients for opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD).
The program works by delivering medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and substance use disorder dispensed by the pharmacy to the patient during the time of their treatment visit, or for telemedicine programs, to the patient’s home. For patients receiving long-acting injectable therapies, including Vivitrol®, St. Matthews delivers medication to the clinic for administration during their scheduled visit.
St. Matthews can also deliver naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids, to patients in our managed program.
St. Matthews Specialty Pharmacy partners with providers to offer direct-acting antiviral medications for hepatitis C positive patients in a convenient, stigma-free environment.
