Managed Medication Assisted Treatment Pharmacy Program

St. Matthews Pharmacy offers a managed medication-assisted treatment (MAT) pharmacy program that focuses on supporting clinicians who treat patients for opioid use disorder (OUD) and substance use disorder (SUD).

The program works by delivering medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and substance use disorder dispensed by the pharmacy to the patient during the time of their treatment visit, or for telemedicine programs, to the patient’s home. For patients receiving long-acting injectable therapies, including Vivitrol®, St. Matthews delivers medication to the clinic for administration during their scheduled visit.

St. Matthews can also deliver naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse an overdose from opioids, to patients in our managed program.

Behavioral Health Pharmacy Solutions

St. Matthews offers an integrated pharmacy program dedicated to positive behavioral health outcomes through improved medication access and adherence. The program focuses on supporting clinicians who treat patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and the common co-occurring health conditions in people receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

By centralizing laboratory testing with both retail and specialty pharmacy services, providers have access to integrated lab and pharmacy data reports. This insight allows for prompt intervention leading to improved patient compliance and adherence to treatment plans.

Laboratory Drug Testing

When combined with drug testing services, integrated lab and pharmacy data reports provide increased visibility and insight for prompt intervention, leading to improved patient compliance and adherence to treatment programs.

Cordant Health Solutions® also offers 100x lower cutoff buprenorphine testing that reliably detects buprenorphine in oral fluid specimens, an ideal testing method for addiction medicine because it doesn’t require a specialized collection facility and collections are non-invasive and observed, minimizing the potential for sample adulteration.

An on-site Cordant team member may also be able to collect drug testing specimens as ordered by the clinician for clients who use our laboratory services.
